Our Story

How it all started...

On April 1st 1984 Christian Life Fellowship held it's first service in a downtown Antioch storefront.   Founding Pastor Jeff Brussaly and His family planted and faithfully served as leaders of CLF for 38 years.  In that time many families have called our Church their home.   The current property was purchased and the original building constructed, followed by a large addition including our current sanctuary.   The call to build a loving community who are hungry for God to move in powerful ways by His Spirit  in and through his people, has been the heartbeat of CLF since day 1.  Our heritage is rooted in the core values of teaching the Word, walking in faith, building family in love, and serving our community.

Expanding the vision...

In 2022 Pastor Scott Love and his wife Kristin took the Lead Pastor role at CLF.   They were called in 2014 to Lake County with a heart to see God minister and bring His healing and freedom to the people in our cities.  Jesus wants His Church today to be built up, empowered, and sent out to make disciples and bring His Kingdom and Life into every corner of our region and beyond.

Where we are headed...

In the current world we live in many are anxious, hopeless, depressed, and confused.  Jesus has the answers to every question, and peace for every fearful heart.  God has called CLF to be a place of healing and freedom from all the worry and cares of this world, and a place to find Life and Life to the fullest.  We are believing and trusting God to build on the great history of His faithfulness with far more than we can ask or think.  With integrity to God's Word, we are reaching for God's grace to impact many lives and bring true purpose and joy to all that encounter Jesus through CLF.
